The Department of Meteorology of the University of Reading is currently advertising 14 PhD studentships for October 2016 entry (or sooner for some projects), including 10 projects within the SCENARIO Doctoral Training Partnership.

At the Department of Meteorology, we are a thriving research community, with over 200 research scientists and typically around 80 PhD students at any one time. We have strong links with the Met
Office, the National Centre for Atmospheric Science (NCAS), the National Centre for Earth Observation (NCEO), the European Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), and the Walker Institute for Climate System Research. We have a mature and well-organised PhD programme, where your abilities can flourish.

For more information, including PhD project adverts and video adverts, and information on how to apply, please visit the Department's website at www.met.reading.ac.uk/pg-research

Informal enquiries are very welcome at phdinfo@met.reading.ac.uk

We look forward to receiving your application, before the deadline of 25 January 2016.

On behalf of the Meteorology PhD Admissions team,

Nicolas.
