We’re inviting applicants for a PhD studentship within the GW4 Doctoral Training partnership.

The student will be based in Exeter at the Met Office (Jane Mulcahy) and Exeter University (Paul Halloran), with close collaboration with the Plymouth Marine Laboratory (Tom Bell). They will investigate the role of the natural aerosol precursor, DMS, in controlling the climate of the Southern Ocean, through a ship-based expedition to the Southern Ocean, observational analysis and climate modelling.
