PhD positions in Atmospheric Science at the University of Nevada-Reno (UNR). The graduate program in atmospheric sciences at the University of Nevada-Reno has over 30 faculty that have active and internationally recognized research programs in many area, including atmospheric physics, atmospheric chemistry, air quality management, climate variability and change, and weather and climate modeling. The program has 3 openings for fall 2015, one as a graduate research assistant and two as graduate teaching assistants. The graduate research assistant position is in the area of meteorological and air quality modeling. The teaching assistant positions will be for one or two years with transition to research assistant positions expected afterwards. High competency in spoken English is required for the teaching assistant positions.
