Forwarded from CLIMLIST... PhD Opportunity in Geography or Atmospheric Sciences The Biometeorology Lab at the University of Kansas has an opening for the Fall, 2015 for a highly motivated PhD student. The project involves examining the carbon and water balances of Mexico and the United States. The PhD student will assess uncertainty in remotely sensed, modeled and field measurements and relate variability in carbon and water processes to local and regional climatic variability. Qualifications:A MS degree in a related field is desired. Extraordinary undergraduates may be considered for admission at the MS level. Experience in remote sensing and/or micrometeorology is preferred. To Apply:Email a single pdf containing your CV, a cover letter with your research interests and experience, a brief summary of accomplishments (educational background, GPA, GRE scores), and contact information for at least three professional references to Dr. Nathaniel Brunsell (email@example.com <mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org>_).
