PhD position at Irstea, Antony (near Paris, France) in the hydrology team developing the conceptual model GR4J. Application of a climate super modelling approach to hydrological models for forecasting and climate change impact purposes.
This PhD thesis aims at developing a method allowing to make hydrological models to converge towards simulations closer to observations, through making them exchange information in real time. For this, we use a dynamic coupling of models, called Super Models (SUMO). The SUMO approach, initially developed for climatic modelling, will be adapted to hydrological modelling. This thesis will have applications for the domain of modelling under change.
