RESEARCH DEAN (ENVIRONMENT) GE15029 APPLICATION CLOSES 27th February 2015 The University of Reading is seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to provide leadership and management for the University research theme of Environment. The University of Reading's Strategy for 2026 sets an ambition to be counted among the very best universities in the UK and internationally. As a means to realise this ambition, under the leadership of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation), the University is developing an ambitious plan to significantly enhance our research standing for 2020. In delivering this plan, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor will be supported by Research Deans with responsibility for the five University themes: Environment, Food, Health, Prosperity & Resilience and Heritage, Creativity & Values. The Research Deans will form part of the senior leadership team of the University with responsibility for research.
