We need a talented and imaginative scientist to join a team effort aimed at understanding the physical processes affecting ocean heat uptake from observations and models, as well as investigating the traceability of the representation of these processes in a hierarchy of climate models ranging from simple two-layer models to fully comprehensive coupled climate models.
