One of the world’s largest System Integrators is looking for a Senior Climate 
Scientist to work in Saudi Arabia in a 36 month extendable contract.

You will act as focal point/coordinator for the client Climate Change Research 
department, work with the client Climate Change Research department team in 
implementation of physical parameterization schemes in CGCM, ultimately leading 
to publish results in peer reviewed international journals. You are responsible 
for development of verification tools and validation of the model outputs, as 
well as mentor, guide and train the client Climate Change Research department 
team members on research endeavours. You will also need to plan and execute 
short-term and long-term climate modelling research projects with the ultimate 
goal of releasing improved or novel products.

You will need a PhD in Climatology/Meteorology/Atmospheric Sciences and strong 
record of publications (during the last 5 years) in international peer-reviewed 
journals related to development of global climate models.

At least 10 years of research experience in global climate model development 
from a leading climate modelling centre or international reputed university and 
experience in climate modelling research with knowledge of implementation of 
the physical schemes in CGCMs. Working experience with HPC in climate model 
development is a must.
