http://www.reading.ac.uk/about/jobs/about-job-details.aspx?vacancy_id=4911057xEPThe University of Reading, as part of a consortium of European climate experts, is developing the Climate Impacts Platform for Copernicus (CLIPC), a "one-stop-shop" for climate impacts information. This post will play a very important role in bringing Earth Observation (EO) datasets into CLIPC, by working closely with EO experts in the European Space Agency's Climate Change Initiative (CCI), and transforming their outputs to support climate impact analysis.
You will have: - Expertise in developing code for scientific research - Experience in handling large environmental datasets - A strong interest in applied/translational science- The ability to engage with end users of research as well as leading academics
