Dear all,

We are looking to appoint a Palaeoclimate Modeller to carry out and
analyse numerical model simulations of past climates of the Eocene
(~50 million years ago), with a focus on modelling isotopic systems
with the UK Met Office model, HadGEM3/UK-ESM.

These simulations and the associated analysis will contribute to a
European Research Council grant awarded to Prof Rich Pancost (“TGRES -
The Greenhouse Earth System”). Details of the wider project and the
modelling component are available from the Co-investigator on the
project, Dr. Dan Lunt.

The successful candidate will have experience in numerical modelling
of the weather/climate, and a background in geoscientific numerical
modelling. Experience in numerical modelling of past climates is
desirable.

Further particulars, and a link for applying, are here:
