Dear colleagues: The School of Earth and Ocean Sciences of Cardiff University (UK) and the Climate Change Consortium of Wales will be hiring a post-doctoral researcher to assess the potential for climate-driven soil loss across Great Britain. The position will be partly based in the Met Office in Exeter, where the research will integrate a process-based soil erosion model with a high-resolution climate model produced by the Met Office. Funding is guaranteed for 8 months from the start of the position, but additional funding is expected from Cardiff University to extend the post for 3 years beyond the initial 8 months.
