Dear colleagues:

The School of Earth and Ocean Sciences of Cardiff University (UK) and
the Climate Change Consortium of Wales will be hiring a post-doctoral
researcher to assess the potential for climate-driven soil loss across
Great Britain. The position will be partly based in the Met Office in
Exeter, where the research will integrate a process-based soil erosion
model with a high-resolution climate model produced by the Met Office.

Funding is guaranteed for 8 months from the start of the position, but
additional funding is expected from Cardiff University to extend the
post for 3 years beyond the initial 8 months.

The closing date for applications is 24 July, and further details of the
position can be found here: <>. Click on
academic and search for vacancy ref. no. 2342BR EARTH.

Please feel free to contact me (

<>) if you would like further

Many thanks,
José Constantine
