Dear all,
This is to inform you of an MSc degree available at the University of
Bristol, UK: Climate Change Science and Policy.

The curriculum is aimed at talented graduates seeking to enter, or
upgrade their expertise in, the fields of climate change science,
policy and analysis. The programme is provided by three of Bristol's
leading science departments: Geographical Sciences, Earth Sciences and
Chemistry, with world-class research groups in four key areas of the
science:

   * Climate change science and its links to policy and policymakers
   * Modelling of the Earth System, from simple box models to complex
climate models
   * Remote Sensing of the environment and GIS
   * Understanding past climate change and making predictions of future change

Some Research Projects carried out by our students this year include:

"A new type of semi-empirical model to project 21st century sea level rise"
"Climate impact of the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event."
"The nutrient release by subglacial erosion as simulated by rock
crushing under laboratory conditions"
"Examining the IPCC and the Reproduction of Apolitical Sciences under
Capitalism".
"Modelling the climate change impacts on the flood regime of UK catchments."

In addition, some of you may be interested in the following, which
gives a flavour of the sort of thing that climate scientists do in
their spare time!
