[Met-jobs] postdoc in Bristol on palaeoclimate modelling

Dear all,

We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to carry out paleoclimate
modelling of the Jurassic time period, and associated work in
collaboration with our project partners, Getech. The work will
primarily involve running the UK Met Office climate model, for various
geological stages in the Jurassic (~150 to ~200 million years ago).
Various aspects of the climate will be investigated, including the
role of CO2, gateways, and orbital variations in determining the
characteristics of this warm greenhouse interval.

The closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday 1st June 2014

It is expected that interviews will be held in early June 2014. We
hope that the successful candidate will be able to start working soon
after the selection process has concluded.
The post is for one year in the first instance, with possible
extension to 2 years.
