Postdoctoral position in climate dynamics
A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMUCC). The successful candidate will work on various problems related to atmospheric, oceanic, and air-sea
coupled processes in the northeast Pacific (e.g., Atmospheric River). The approaches used by the candidate will include diagnoses of coupled GCM and experiments of AGCM. A qualified applicant is anticipated to have experience in the diagnosis of coupled modeling,
and management of large data sets. Strong skills in integrating global and regional coupled models, AGCM and OGCM are further advantages. A PhD in atmospheric science, physical oceanography, or other related field is required at the time of the appointment.
