[Met-jobs] Earth System Science Spring School: March 2014, University of Lancaster

The last few places are available for the 2014 Earth System Science
Spring School (ES4) taking place at Lancaster University between 30th
March and 11th April.  The closing date for booking a place is Sunday
February 2, please encourage students to book as soon as possible and
please circulate this information as widely as possible.

ES4 provides PhD students and early-career researchers with a broad
foundation in earth system science and its applications. The school is
managed by NCAS and involves several major UK research institutes
allowing access to the knowledge and expertise of renowned scientists.
ES4 will deliver an intensive programme including earth, marine,
terrestrial, atmospheric and polar science.

Cost: £300 per person for NERC funded students/researchers. The cost
of the spring school for Non-NERC students is £500 (GBP). This
includes accommodation, meals, internet access during course and field
trips.
