We are looking for candidates for 3 Junior senior scientist temporary positions in micrometeorology and modeling

The Biometeorology group at the Institute for Mediterranean Agricultural and Forest Systems (CNR-ISAFOM) in Ercolano (Napoli), Italy seeks 3 post-docs:

1) Scientists for micrometeorology (2 positions) 

Responsibilities 
The candidate shall conduct research in the area of eddy covariance flux measurements of dust, pollutants, GHG,  water and energy between land surfaces and atmosphere - using urban and rural towers in Italy as well as small research aircrafts. Tasks include: data collection and manipulation;  development of new research proposals, publishing in  peer-reviewed journals, presentation of results nationally and internationally.

Requirements
Dynamic, creative and motivated scientist with PhD in environmental sciences, biogeochemistry, meteorology, physics, plant ecology, or related disciplines. Expertise in eddy covariance flux and meteorological measurements from towers and/or aircrafts;  programming abilities and relevant publication record needed. Good knowledge of English as working language and basic knowledge of Italian is essential. Driving license required. 

Benefits
We offer a 2-year junior scientist position with possibility of extension for up to 3 more years, in an international research group focusing on biosphere-atmosphere interactions using micrometeorological measurements. The candidate has the opportunity to develop his/her own research profile.

The candidate shall conduct research in the area of analysis and modeling of environmental data, including time series of flux measurements of dust, pollutants, GHG,  water and energy between land surfaces and atmosphere.
Tasks include: data manipulation, modelization and simulation;  development of new research proposals, publishing in  peer-reviewed journals, presentation of results nationally and internationally.

Requirements
