[Met-jobs] PhD Research Fellowship in Hydrology and Cryospheric Sciences

A position as PhD Research fellow is available at the Department of
Geosciences, University of Oslo. The fellowship is for a period of 3
years. Starting date as soon as possible from January 2014.

The successful candidate will work within the Physical Geography and
Hydrology Section on simulations assessing hydrologic and cryospheric
sensitivity to regional and local transport of pollutants. The project
entails collaborative research between The University of Oslo (UiO) and
the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Furthermore, the project
contributes to a consortium of Norwegian-Indian Research Exchange
projects that include the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy
Directorate (NVE), and Statkraft. The student will be located at UiO in
Oslo, but will also be expected to travel to India for short term
visits.
