[Met-jobs] Post-Doc Climate Modeling

The College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences (CEOAS) at Oregon State University invites applications for a full-time Research Associate (Post Doc) position in one or more of the following topics:

(1) probabilistic projections of the impact of Greenland Ice Sheet melting on the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation;

(2) quantifying the effect of oscillations of the moon's orbit around Earth (Lunar Nodal Cycle) on tides, ocean mixing, and climate; or

(3) estimating climate sensitivity from temperature reconstructions and global climate model simulations of the Last Glacial Maximum.

Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate (PhD) in physics, mathematics, statistics, atmospheric sciences, oceanography, or a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications: Programming experience (FORTRAN, C),
experience with the development and/or analysis of climate models, experience with statistical methods, background in climate/paleoclimate science, and a demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
