Public Health England are looking to fill three scientific posts in the
Environmental Assessments Department. Our department protects people from
man-made sources of ionising radiation, providing advice and assessing
radiation doses. Applicants must have an honours degree in a computing,
mathematical or scientific subject (or equivalent). It is worth noting that the
third post is in the Emergency Assessments and Advice Group (where we undertake
assessments of the consequences of potential and actual unplanned releases, and
develop advice for emergency protection) and will include working with the UK
Met Office in the field of atmospheric dispersion modelling.
