Dear Colleagues,

We seek to appoint an Ocean/Ice Modeller at the British Antarctic Survey.

Based in the Polar Oceans programme, the postholder will join a team
investigating ocean and ice variability in the Southern and Arctic oceans. The
postholder will be responsible for creating a model of the ocean, sea ice, and
ice shelves in the Weddell Sea, Antarctica. They will study the formation and
evolution of dense water masses in the region, which ultimately contribute to
the production of Antarctic Bottom Water. Full details are at:

<http://www.antarctica.ac.uk/employment/vacancies/job.php?tab=1&JobID=863>

The closing date for applications is 11th August 2013, though I'm very happy to
answer informal enquiries about the post before then.

Thanks,

Paul
