School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of 
Technology invites applications for Postdoctoral Researcher opportunity:

Postdoctoral Researcher positions are open at the School of Civil and 
Environmental Engineering of the Georgia Institute of Technology, starting 
immediately. The successful candidates will have opportunity to work on 
challenging projects with funding from EPA, NASA, HEI and others. The projects 
include developing data assimilation techniques for air quality forecasting, 
integrated source apportionment using air quality models, and modeling of air 
quality impacts from forest fires. The projects will involve working on model 
development, performance evaluation, emission strength analysis and application 
of regional air quality models.

The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal for 
additional years based on performance and continuation of funding. The stipend 
depends on qualifications and comes with full benefits. The applicant should 
have a Ph.D. in the atmospheric sciences or environmental engineering or a 
related field, with experience in regional air quality modeling. Advanced 
scientific programming skills are essential and previous experience with CMAQ 
or CAMx is highly desirable. To apply for this opportunity, please email a
