Marine System Modeller Plymouth, UK Marine System Modeller ref: PML39813 Salary range £28,655 - £40,855 p.a. PML is an international centre of excellence for marine chemical, biological and ecotoxicological research. PML’s research portfolio places particular emphasis on observing, modelling, understanding and forecasting marine ecosystems to support evidence-based environmental solutions to societal challenges. PML is looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Marine System Modeller on a full-time, permanent basis to join the PML marine system modelling team. You will join one of the largest and most energetic marine ecosystem modelling groups in the world and work on the development and application of marine hydrodynamic/ecosystem models, investigating the impact of climate change and other stressors on marine ecosystems with a focus on benthic systems. Experience Required: You will have a background in numerical modelling or marine science, along with a PhD or a minimum of three years postgraduate research experience. In particular, we are interested in individuals who have experience in computational modelling preferably in a marine or natural sciences context.
