The Sub-Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic and Planetary Physics at the University of Oxford is seeking applicants for DPhil (PhD) study commencing in October 2013.  The Sub-Department is offering a wide range of research topics on physical processes in the atmospheres, surfaces and oceans of the Earth and other planets, using experimental and theoretical techniques.  Descriptions of research projects can be found at <http://www2.physics.ox.ac.uk/study-here/postgraduates/atmospheric-oceanic-and-planetary-physics/aopp-research-projects-for-2013>.
