Forwarded from CLIMLIST... Visiting Fellow in Geography The School of Geography, Planning and Environmental Management at The University of Queensland is seeking to strengthen its international associations though the appointment of a Visiting Fellow in Geography. The Geographical Sciences program has research and teaching strengths that span the fields of human geography, physical geography and spatial information science. It is important to note that the role involves more than a (self-directed) sabbatical placement. The appointee will be expected to take an active interest across the Geography Program and engage strongly with its academic and other staff, as per his or her scholarly preferences. We would be interested in receving applications for the 2013 Fellowship from those individuals with background in any field of atmospheric science which is aligned with expertise in the School. The Fellowship will be offered for approximately 16 to 18 weeks in 2013 (February – June, or July – December) and will include an attractive stipend to cover living expenses and economy class return airfare via the most direct route for the appointee from his or her home institution.
