Job Summary

water@leeds is a world-leading centre for interdisciplinary water research and 
is the largest water research centre in any UK university. As part of the 
University’s commitment to invest in excellence we seek to appoint the first 
three of six new Academic Research Fellowships in water to individuals with 
outstanding potential. An Academic Research Fellowship provides the opportunity 
for a researcher with outstanding potential to establish an independent 
academic career and will include a core student education role throughout the 
Fellowship. These posts are available for a period of five years with the 
expectation of then progressing to an established academic post subject to 
meeting probationary targets.

You will have an excellent research track record in water research together 
with the vision and drive to develop a prestigious research portfolio. Working 
collaboratively across a number of disciplines, you will make a significant 
impact on the performance, stature and profile of water@leeds.
