Candidates with a lower class of degree, but a good performance at Masters level in a relevant subject will also be considered. No prior knowledge of meteorology is required but we are particularly interested in candidates with a strong statistical background.
This studentship is fully funded (including a maintenance grant of about£13,590 per year (2012/2013 rate), and University fees) but this funding is ONLY available to UK students or non-UK EU students who have been resident in the UK for 3 years.
