Dear All,

University College London is looking to appoint a new faculty member for our palaeoclimate group within the Geography Department (www.geog.ucl.ac.uk). We're a vibrant department with broad expertise. UCL has excellent lab facilities (http://www.ucl.ac.uk/beif/), but I would especially appreciate applications from the palaeoclimate modelling community. London is a great city to live in, although a little obsessed with the Olympics at the moment, and you will be right at the centre of science in the UK.

We're looking for someone with a strong publication record and an ability to secure external funding. The post is open at either the Lecturer or Reader level (equivalent to Assistant or Associate Professor). The application deadline is 15th September and the full advert is here: https://atsv7.wcn.co.uk/search_engine/jobs.cgi?owner=5041178&ownertype=fair&jcode=1268577

Feel free to contact me informally if you have any questions,
Chris
