Dynamics of Sting Jets and their Relation to Larger-Scale Drivers

Applicants should have at least an upper second class degree in physics, mathematics or closely related physical or environmental science. Candidates with a lower class of degree, but a good performance at Masters level in a relevant subject will also be considered. No prior knowledge of meteorology is required.

This studentship is fully funded (including a maintenance grant of about
£13,590 per year (2011/2012 rate), and University fees)
