Postdoctoral Position in Climate Physics The Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Department at McGill University seeks a postdoctoral research associate to work on Climate Physics. The project aims to improve the understanding of the controlling factors of the radiation energy budget of the climate system. A focus is on clouds’ radiative impact on global and regional climate’s internal variability and sensitivity to external radiative forcing. The investigation will implement both satellite and modeling data. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences or a related field, with a strong background in climate physics, remote sensing or climate dynamics. Experience with satellite data (e.g., the A-Train data) analysis and climate modeling is highly desirable. The appointment will be initially awarded for one year and can be renewed for a second year. Prospective applicants should send a CV, a list of references, and a statement of interest to Prof. Yi Huang (Yi.Huang@McGill.ca).
