FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING, SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES
The School of Environmental Sciences was created in 2009 to bring together the University’s world-class research expertise on aspects of the environment. The School currently comprises over 80 academic staff, around 40 research staff and around 200 post-graduate students. We are seeking to strengthen our portfolio further by the appointment of an additional 4 permanent academic staff with a strong track record of research and with a clear vision for the development of their research area.
LECTURER IN PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY (GRADE 7 / 8)
£31,020 - £46,846 pa
You will demonstrate international excellence in research in the area of Earth Surface Dynamics. We seek forward-thinking physical geographers / environmental scientists who can complement our existing strengths. You will have a PhD and research and teaching excellence in one of the following fields: climate change and impacts, environmental change and human interactions, process dynamics and sediment systems. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in modelling. Job Ref: A-574595
