The Remote Sensing Technology Institute at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany,
has an open position for a Research Associate (post-doc).

The holder of the position will be responsible for development and refinement of novel scientific algorithms for the retrieval of trace gases (especially SO2) from measurements of the atmospheric satellite sensors GOME, SCIAMACHY and GOME-2. The work is carried out in close cooperation with national and international partners. We offer an excellent work environment, and provide the opportunity to collaborate with leading scientists in the field of satellite-based atmospheric remote sensing. The position is available immediately and the appointment will be for a three year period.
