The Air Quality Research Division invites applications for the position of
Visiting Fellow (Post-Doctoral Fellow )
Two year term; Beginning ASAP
The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in a physical science or engineering with specialization relevant to the study of atmospheric pollution.
The overall project goal is to improve the understanding of dynamic particle/gas partitioning of semivolatile organic compounds (SVOCs) in the atmosphere. Tasks to be completed during the post-doctoral term will be focused in a laboratory setting and will involve measurements using real-time instruments (PTR-MS, AMS) and off-line techniques (solvent extraction, GC-MS). Knowledge of SVOC partitioning and mass transfer theory is desirable.
