NUMTECH is a french society specialized in the expertise of atmospheric events and their consequences.

We are looking for an Engineer in Air Quality

 

Mission: Under the management of a project leader, the applicant will have to realize studies in numerical modelling of pollutant atmospheric dispersion, in accordance with the customer’s specifications and the company’s quality charter.

 

He/she will have to be self-sufficient in all steps of a study, that is to say: analysis of the specifications, collect and analysis of the customer’s data, configuration and parameterization of the calculation tools, interpretation of the results and correction of the eventual mistakes, writing of the study report or of all part he/she will be responsible for.

 

Training: Engineer diploma / Professional Master in Air Quality / PhD in Atmospheric Physics.

 

Experience: recently qualified engineer accepted.

 

Salary: according to experience and training. The initial payment is based on the SYNTEC agreement.

 

Nature of the contract: Open-ended contract

 

Localisation: Position available in Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme) or Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) in France.

 

Skills required:

 

-          Rigour and precision in tasks realization, correct writing and spelling.

-          Mastered English.

-          Knowledge of the modelling tools at local and regional scale and/or of emission inventory methods would be appreciated.
