The Centre for Australian Weather and Climate Research (CAWCR) is
seeking a scientist to participate in the development of prototype sea
level forecasts for the Pacific using the seasonal prediction system
POAMA and sea level research activities within CAWCR. The appointee will
have a scientific research background in physical sciences, preferably
with experience in climate and/or ocean science or climate prediction .

This position (reference number: 12757) will be part of CAWCR, a joint
research centre between the Australian Bureau of Meteorology and the
CSIRO (<http://www.cawcr.gov.au/>).  The appointment is for
approximately 2 years at the Professional Officer 2 level ($69,729 –
$78,157 per annum, plus an additional 15.4% superannuation).
