The above position has been advertised on the Bureau of Meteorology's careers

Manage the activities of the Darwin Regional Forecasting Centre, which includes 
the Regional Specialised Meteorological Centre, Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre, 
Tropical Cyclone Warning Centre and Severe Weather Section. Plan and coordinate 
the development of associated operational, scientific, technical and quality 
control programs.
