Opportunity for a Postdoctoral Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory Job Description The Atmospheric Sciences and Global Change Division at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) seeks a postdoctoral scientist to work on mesoscale and climate modeling. The position is for 2 years. The selected candidate will work with a modeling team to improve representations of aerosol-cloud interactions in large-scale models. He/She will also design and perform numerical experiments using the improved models to elucidate aerosol effects on the hydrological cycle. Requirements/Qualifications A Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science or related subjects is required. Candidates with experience in cloud parameterizations and regional climate models (especially WRF) as well as familiarity with high performance computing is preferred. Strong written and oral communications skills are required. Interested candidates should send the following materials to L.
