Weather Presenter Channel 4 News

This is a great opportunity to be the new face of weather on Channel 4.  This 
new role is being introduced to present our television forecasts and to write 
for our website. The successful candidate will bring a distinctive approach to 
providing our viewers and users with this important service, bringing 
innovative ideas for presenting useful and relevant information. 

This role is based in the Channel 4 Newsroom at ITN. As the Weather Presenter 
you will write your own scripts and produce each bulletin using automated 
graphics from our weather data provider. You will also work with the news 
online team to produce original articles and content for the Channel 4 News 
website, and occasionally contribute directly to the news. There is also has 
the potential to present factual weather programming for Channel 4. 

You will already be a fluent and confident live broadcaster, an intelligent and 
memorable character, with a journalist’s curiosity for the unexpected.
