Job Summary

A new Selex-Germatronix X-band, dual polarization, Doppler, moveable radar has been purchased for the Facility for Ground-based Atmospheric Measurement (FGAM). The radar will become part of FGAM and will be available as National Capability to the Atmospheric Science Community. We are seeking an Instrument Scientist to operate the radar in field campaigns and for maintenance, calibration, deployment, initial data processing, and collaboration with scientists in Europe, US and elsewhere in the world.

You will have a PhD in a relevant physical science, or related area with experience in using movable radars and experience of participating in and using radar in major international field campaigns and research projects.
