We have a new job opening for the following:

Ocean Modeler/Programmer
NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center
Global Modeling & Assimilation Office
Greenbelt, MD

I.M. Systems Group, Inc. (IMSG) <www.imsg.com>, a government contractor
located in Rockville, Maryland is currently seeking to hire an Ocean
Modeler/Programmer to assist in implementing ocean biology into the GEOS
coupled model/data assimilation system used in the Global Modeling and
Assimilation Office at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center.

Duties:
*Code development and integration
*Testing and documentation
*Interacting with scientists and programmers in other areas within the
GMAO and GEOD development group

Requirements:
*Minimum of a MS degree in ocean or atmospheric sciences, Earth system
modeling, mathematics, or engineering
*Practical experience with ocean/atmosphere/climate models and Fortran
*Familiarity with data assimilation & development and implementation of
existing or new data assimilation methodologies
