Vacancy: Director of Climate Application Development and Modeling, CSC,
Inc., metropolitan area, Washington, D.C.

CSC, a global leader in providing technology-enabled solutions and
services, is seeking a highly qualified climate application developer/
climate modeler to join the CSC team of scientists and engineers who are
expanding climate service development and support. The successful
applicant will have strong expertise in climate science or a related
natural science. Experience in using output from global climate models
to develop an understanding of climate change or to address challenges
in other related subjects such as ecology, hydrology, etc., and a strong
understanding of the data and information needs of these communities is
essential. A Ph.D. in climate science or a related natural science, plus
3 years experience will be required. Demonstrated involvement or
knowledge of the climate modeling or climate research community planning
