University College Dublin is seeking to appoint a temporary Lecturer in Meteorology in the School of Mathematical Sciences.

UCD School of Mathematical Sciences is committed to research and teaching across the mathematical sciences, including mathematics, applied and computational mathematics, statistics and actuarial science, and meteorology and climate science. The advertised position concerns the area of meteorology and climate science.

The successful candidate will be expected to engage in research in some aspect of meteorology and/or climate science, including supervision of research students and projects, and to contribute to the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate meteorology teaching programmes.

Applications from excellent candidates with interests in all areas of Meteorology and Climate Science will be considered.

2010 Salary Scale: €35,355 - €81,452 per annum(*).
Appointment on scale will be made commensurate with qualification and experience.
