[Met-jobs] Student projects within the Observations and Process Studies Group/Barbados Initiative at MPI-M, Hamburg

Several Bachelor or Master projects are available within the OPS Group/Barbados Initiative of the Atmosphere Department at the Max-Planck Institute for Meteorology in Hamburg, Germany.
The projects span from six weeks up to one year and ideally start within the next months. Their focus is on the analysis and interpretation of observations collected at the Barbados Cloud Observatory, an instrument platform that is hosted by MPI on the island of Barbados and that has been operational for almost one year. Each project contributes to a better understanding of the processes that play a role in shallow (trade-wind) cumulus convection and their large-scale meteorological environment and fits within the broader goals of the Aerosol, Cloud, Precipitation and Climate Initiative, an international collaboration between MPI-M and various institutes in and outside of Germany.
