PhD Position in Atmospheric Chemistry at Laboratoire d'Aerologie, Toulouse, France

I have one PhD funded project that aim to start in September 2011.

Title: Impact of the Asian pollution upon the UTLS (Upper Troposphere-Lower Stratosphere) composition: assimilation of spaceborne (IASI) data and mesoscale modelling (
Detailed subject in attachment).

Candidate: master degree in meteorology/physics/chemistry/engineering or similar educational level. Knowledge on mesoscale modelling and data analysis of spaceborne observations are an advantage.

Sponsors: CNES (50%) and Météo-France (50%).

Duration and Salary: 3 years (1 year renewable twice), 1919 € monthly.
